Jini M. Hanjian, PhD Dr. Jini M. Hanjian is the Research Coordinator in the Department of Aging and Mental Health, Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute, University of South Florida. She supervises the research support unit that provides research, computer and technical support to the Department's projects, grants and activities. Dr. Hanjian has been the Managing Editor of the Journal of Mental Health and Aging since 1997. Currently, she is involved in coordinating the Florida Coalition for Optimal Mental Health and Aging conferences, and supports regional coalition development. Dr. Hanjian received her doctorate in applied anthropology from the USF Department of Anthropology in 2000, and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the USF School of Aging Studies in 2003. Dr. Hanjian has worked at the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute for 21 years in children and older adult mental health, and clinical program quality assurance. She has been in the Department of Aging and Mental Health for the last nine years. |
