| Abstract: |
This session will present the positive outcomes that can be achieved through the development and implementation of mental health and aging coalitions. Practical examples will be provided through a review of the activities and benefits of existing older adult behavioral health coalitions, such as the Florida Coalition for Optimal Mental Health and Aging, and its regional affiliates. |
| Goal: |
To increase the participants' understanding, interest and participation in the Florida Coalition and its development. |
| Objective 1: |
Participants will list two potential benefits of the state-wide coalition, and the regional coalitions. |
| Objective 2: |
Participants will recognize at least two achievements of the Florida Coalition and its regional affiliates. |
